EMT Safe Haven is the first registered exotic sanctuary in KZN.  Governed by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and also a registered NPO consisting of 6 Board members.  Pieter Van Den Berg is the Chairman of the Board and runs a fully operational sanctuary.

They currently care for 84 marmosets, 2 lemurs, 3 squirrel monkeys, 4 cotton tops and 2 sugar gliders.

Public viewing is not allowed as per legislation but can be viewed by appointment.
